We are the sum of our habits. As pastors, let’s determine to fill our lives with habits that promote health and longevity in the face of all that glorifies the extreme as we set an example for our families and congregations.
Here are 5 Habits of Healthy Pastors…
#1 – Peak Pastors are avid readers.
Peak Thinking: “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” ― Dr. Seuss, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!
Peak Pause: What are you presently reading? ___________________________
If you could only recommend one book today, what would it be?

#2 – Peak Pastors get plenty of sleep. Well rested is well prepared.
#3 – Peak Pastors eat healthy. Stop desecrating God’s temple.
#4 – Peak Pastors play hard! Relax and enjoy (you aren’t that important)!
#5 – Peak Pastors work harder! Even better, they work smarter.
“Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you.” – Augustine
Peak Pause: What bad habit do you want help breaking? And, what will you replace it with?
